Why does coffee sometimes make you feel tired instead of ale
Hey folks, has anyone else ever experienced a weird phenomenon where drinking coffee actually makes you feel sluggish or sleepy instead of giving you an energy boost? I always thought caffeine was a universal stimulant, but lately, a cup of coffee seems to completely drain me after the initial sip. Is this a common reaction, or is something wrong with how my body handles it?

You are definitely not alone in this, and it actually has a lot to do with genetics! I recently read a great piece onhttps://www.holivita.ai/blog/genetics-and-caffeine-why-some-people-crash-after-coffee-and-others-dontthat breaks down why certain people experience severe crashes and fatigue from stimulants. It explains how specific liver enzymes process caffeine differently from person to person. It's a super interesting read for anyone sensitive to coffee.
